Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of the Lahore High Court said that Judicial Officers are agents of change. He was addressing a concluding ceremony of Capacity Building Training Course designed for Judicial Magistrates at Punjab Judicial Academy (PJA).
Justice Mansoor said that District Judiciary enjoys pivotal role and it is need of hour to channelise resources for the training and capacity building of judges. LHC is introducing fresh ideas for enhancing the decision making skills of the members of the judiciary. The case ratio per judge in the Punjab is very high as compared to other provinces. We need 60 to 70 new judges to cope with the situation.
We have to strive hard for providing relief to the aggrieved persons and focus maximum attention for the welfare of the litigant. Director General Punjab Judicial Academy, former Justice Syed Jamshed Ali and course representative Muhammad Aamir Raza also spoke on the occasion.
