Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Monday claimed to have arrested over 80 suspects during targeted operations at various vicinities of Karachi. According to official sources, paramilitary rangers conducted search operations at different parts of Model Colony that led the arrests of some 25 suspects with weapons. Sources said the search continued for four hours and the Rangers personnel took 25 suspects including political workers into custody. They said the Rangers had also removed barriers and other obstacles during operation.
Meanwhile, police also raided at Qauid-e-Azam Colony and different sectors of North Karachi and detained some 65 suspects. The sources also claimed to have recovered 1.6kgs of hashish, two pistols, 16 bikes and arms and ammunitions during raids. The detained persons were shifted to undisclosed place for further interrogation.
