0.7 million voters registered in Karachi: ECP

The number of registered voters in Karachi has reached 7,000,000 after door-to-door verification, the Election Commission of Pakistan has said. The ECP said on Tuesday that 300,000 voters were increased in the total after the verification process over the Supreme Court of Pakistan's orders in the metropolis. As many as "4,080,000 men and 3,020,000 women voters are registered in Karachi," the ECP added.
Moreover, the printing process of the electoral list of Karachi has also been started after the approval of the ECP.
