Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in process of slow trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Makai low type was higher by Rs 125 to Rs 2750 and the best quality was up by Rs 50 to Rs 2875, wheat old (Bardan) gained Rs 45 to Rs 2925, other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low quality drifted lower by Rs 25 to Rs 3375 and the best type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 3400, Irri white (broken) low type fell by Rs 50 to Rs 2800 while the good type was unchanged at Rs 2900, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 1100 and the good variety was lower by Rs 50 to Rs 1200, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams sector, they said.
