NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling weakened slightly against the dollar on Thursday, as oil importers and multinational companies bought dollars to meet end month requirements ahead of Easter holidays, traders said.
At 0852 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.80/101.00 per dollar, compared with 100.70/90 at Wednesday's close.
Money markets will be closed on Friday Mar. 29 and Monday Apr. 2 for Easter holiday.
