Commissioner KMC Matanat Ali Khan visited the homes of city wardens, who were murdered on Thursday night and gave Rs 5 Lakh cheque to each deceased's family on behalf of KMC. He said Rs 5 Lac cheque was not substitute of precious lives but it has been given to share the pain of deceased's families. Matanat Ali Khan said that city wardens having the sprit of serving people were busy with serving citizens but unknown people did not want peace and prosperity in the city.
He said KMC Administrator has decided to provide a person from each deceased's family with a job in KMC and they will be given appointment letters in next two days. Earlier, the funeral prayer of three deceased wardens was attended by a good number of KMC officers and employees.
