US Ambassador Richard Olson visited Lahore on Tuesday and met with leading civil society and business leaders to discuss ways to expand the US-Pakistan relationship to benefit the people of both nations. Ambassador Olson visited the historic Pak Tea House, where he met with interim Punjab Minister of Health Salima Hashmi. During his visit, Ambassador Olson remarked.
"The United States is committed to working with Pakistan to expand regional and bilateral trade and people-to-people ties. Through a commitment to these principles, we can build a relationship based on shared interests and mutual respect."
