Children and youth should be the prime focus of National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) and the department is making proper efforts to bring a disciplined next generation on roads with better sense of traffic and road safety rules. This was said by DIG Dr Muhammed Shafiq while directing mobile education unit at zonal office here on Wednesday.
On the directions of DIG N-5 Central, Dr Muhammed Shafiq Mobile Education Unit and officers of N-5 Central Zone arranged a special briefing/education session regarding awareness of road safety measures at Chand Bagh School, Muridkey. The briefing session was attended by a large number of students and other dignitaries of the college. The students were given briefing with the help of multi-media projector regarding road crossing, safety helmet, lane usage, seat belt, hazards of over speeding, driving during adverse weather conditions and other tips of road safety. The students were asked to follow traffic rules as civilized nations are known by their discipline on roads.
