Jamil Bugti's lawyer on Thursday submitted a petition in the Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) for summoning former president General Pervez Musharraf (Retd), a key accused in the Akbar Bugti murder case. During the hearing, lawyer of Jamil Bugti, son of slain Akbar Bugti, submitted a petition in the ATC stating that Musharraf, a key accused of Akbar Bugti murder case, should be summoned in the court as he was present in the country.
The court accepted another petition filed by former interior minister Aftab Sherpao and former home minister Shoaib Nosherwani's lawyers and gave exemption to them from personally appearing in the court because they are busy in their upcoming elections campaign. The crime branch also submitted investigation report in the court. The hearing was adjourned till May 2.
