Although Danish Queen Margrethe II might not personally use a mobile phone, the royal palace said Monday it was due to release a free app for people interested in keeping track of the royal family's official events. In addition to getting updated news from the palace, users would be able to see photos and video clips from events attended by the royals, the palace said.
The app also had a built-in camera function, aimed at allowing users to send photos from events attended by the royals to the palace. A selection of these would appear on the palace website and app. Users could also access information about the royal palaces and royal art collections via the app.
