One more body recovered from Gayari

The body of one more martyred was recovered from Gayari on Sunday, bringing the total number of bodies recovered so far to 122. This was the first body to be recovered after resumption of search operation at Gayari.
It may be recalled that on 7th of April 2012, 140 soldiers and civilians of the Northern Light Infantry Battalion were killed when they came under a huge snow slide at Gayari. 121 bodies of the martyrs were recovered before suspension of the operation on 27 November 2012 due to snowfall.
