KGH School of Nursing graduation ceremony: 104 female students awarded degrees
As many as 104 female students were awarded degrees at the graduation ceremony of School of Nursing, Kharadar General Hospital, on Thursday. The ceremony held at the hospital's auditorium, was chaired by industrialist, President of Kharadar General Hospital and Patron School of Nursing, Muhammad Bashir Janmohammed. Principal School of Nursing and famous personalities of the nursing field were also present on the occasion.
During the ceremony, General Nursing, Nursing Midwife, Pupil Midwife students committed to serving the mankind with their professional skills. In his presidential speech, Bashir Janmohammed said that women getting education and seeking professional skills were heading towards bright future. Better opportunity to the country and the nation has been provided to students of old and non-privileged areas of Karachi.
They should fulfil their responsibility by providing better service to humanity. He said by increasing manpower and improving professional skills in the nursing field lend to improve quality health service. Kharadar General Hospital CEO Dr Khalid Iqbal said despite incompatible and inappropriate conditions, Kharadar General Hospital is providing its premium services to thousands of patients and also playing due role in improving resources and manpower in health sector. In her address of welcome, Ms Talat Bhatti, Principal School of Nursing, Kharadar General Hospital also congratulated students on receiving degrees and awards and advised them to increase the honour of nursing profession.
