There is demand of Pakistani products in America and American Companies are interested in strengthening business ties with Pakistani counterparts. This was said by US Consul General Michael Dodman on Thursday while addressing to industrialists and businessmen during his visit to Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI).
The Consul General was accompanied with Economic Officer Kara Babrowski, Spokesperson Richard Silver and Communication Chief USAID Pakistan Brit Sterner. Michael Dodman said that to improve Pakistan Education System the liaison between the universities of two countries was being enhanced. Pak-US Business Council, a high-level private sector trade delegation would be visiting Pakistan, he said, adding "we would suggest that it visit Hyderabad and Kotri and give attention to investment in the power generation sector."
President HCCI Gohar Ullah, while welcoming the US guests, expressed his opinion that the visit of US Consul General to Hyderabad Chamber would be a great source of inspiration and encouragement. "Pakistan and America have long business relations and both the countries are making sincere efforts to improve and strengthen ties."
In the meeting, the Vice Chancellor Sindh University Dr Nazeer A Moughal, Vice Chancellor Liaquat University Professor Mashood Alam, Collector of Customs Asif Marghoob Siddiqui, Senior Vice President Turab Ali, ex-president Shafique Ahmed Qureshi, Emad Siddiqui, ex-vice president Ziauddin Qureshi, Maqsood Ahmed Khan and others were also present.
