Punjab Food Authority (PFA) has sealed Taj Mahal Sweets shop situated in the walled city on charges of poor cleanliness on Friday. According to details, Food Safety Officer Komal Akber and Assistant Food Safety Officer raided the Taj Mahal Sweets shop and found situation of cleanliness very poor and preparation of food in a very unhygienic manner. Food safety officer sealed both shop and manufacturing place of the sweets shop.
It is said the Authority had issued notice to Taj Mahal Sweets shop and fined the owner of the said shop in the past on the same charges. Food Authority team also sent samples of sweets to the laboratory for further analysis.
