We believe that labour is an integral part of our economy. The tremendous contribution by our workers in economic development and growth of the country in recent years can't be denied. It is high time to realise that workers should be given their rights and dignity in society and to motivate them for economic prosperity.
The present government is committed to welfare and up-keeping of the working class. The government Employee's Old Age Benefits Institution takes care of the old-age pension of the registered workers. Workers' Welfare Fund is providing labour welfare in the shape of scholarship to the workers' children, free education, death grant, marriage grant and provision of housing facilities.
