The Balochistan government announced on Friday the closure of education institutions in the province from May 9 till 11 in the light of election schedule. The decision was taken in view of the law and order situation and smooth holding of elections. Some separatist organisations from the area have warned political forces in Balochistan to avoid participating in electoral process.
Previously, some miscreants attacked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Lashkri Raesani's polling office attacked on May 1 in which at least six people sustained injuries in Arbab Ghulam Ali Road. Moreover, the PML-N Balochistan president Sanaullah Zehri lost his son, brother and other relatives in an attack.
