Cameron Diaz retires from Hollywood
During a fun chat with her colleagues, the ‘Bad Teacher’ actor Cameron Diaz confirmed to bid farewell to Hollywood.
Sitting down with Entertainment Weekly, the 45-year-old actress reunited with her co-stars of ‘The Sweetest Thing’ released in 2002. During the talk, the actors realized that they had not met since the movie released. Diaz responded saying that she is ‘literally doing nothing’ and the girls should hang out more.
When one of the actresses revealed that she is semi-retired since becoming a mom, Diaz remarked, “That’s so awesome. I’m totally down. I’m semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired, so I would love to see you ladies.”
The Sun reports that Diaz’s rumors of retirement initially surfaced beginning of this month after actress Selma Blair hinted about her retiring from films at a party. But Blair took to Twitter once the news went viral and said that she only joked about Diaz’s retirement from Hollywood.
📠📺??👩🏻?🏫 BREAKING NEWS 🚨🚨🚨. Guys please, I was making a joke in an interview. CAMERON DIAZ is NOT retiring from ANYTHING. And for more breaking news: I am NOW retiring from being Cameron Diaz’s spokesperson. 🎙

The blonde actress was last seen in a movie back to 2014 where she starred in ‘Annie’. Since then Diaz has been absent from the big screen.
The actress has starred in several hits including ‘The Mask’, “My Sister’s Keeper’ and voiced in the ‘Shrek’ series.
