Senior Vice President of Balochistan National Party (Mengal) Sajid Tareen has alleged that his party has been punished in the elections for its bold stance on rights of Balochs on natural resources and raising strong voice over atrocities against the people.
Addressing a press conference along with PB-4 candidate Akhtar Hussain Lango and others here on Sunday, Sajid Tareen said his party would not accept the election results and knock the doors of the courts.
He said that from day one the BNP had been raising voice against inappropriate attitude of the civil-military establishment towards the people.
He said the BNP faced challenges from two fronts ie those who have taken up arms to get their rights and the nationalist parties who had identical ideology with the establishment.
He said they had been saying that the establishment wanted to keep its control of Balochistan through fake leadership.
He alleged that "our polling office was attacked at Shabo on Saturday to convert our majority into minority."
