Karachi police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested 61 alleged criminals, including six absconder and 13 hardened accused in 111 different raids against criminal elements and recovered 29 different types of weapons in last two days. East, West and South zones reports said Sohrab Goth, Bin Qasim and Quaidabad police arrested five bandits and killed other in separate police encounters. The Korangi Industrial Area, Sohrab Goth and Pak Colony police detained 13 accused involved in robberies.
Sir Syed police arrested Muhammad Sohail alias Tanveer son of Abdul Majeed, for his alleged involvement in murder case. Similarly, Azizabad police arrested Muhammad Nadir son of Yaseen in a murder case. Police arrested 26 people involved in violation of ban on pillion riding in the last two days.
