The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday adjourned the hearing of judges' detention case against former president and army chief Pervez Musharraf till May 18 after the public prosecutor extended an excuse that he was unable to our sue the case. The ATC judge, Kausar Abbas Zaidi, ordered the government to appoint a public prosecutor in the judges' detention case against Pervez Musharraf after Advocate Syed Tayyab offered an excuse that he was unable to follow the case due to his mother's illness.
The court was informed that the prosecutor had officially informed the chief commissioner of Islamabad and Ministry of Law had received a letter of Chief Commissioner for the appointment of a new prosecutor.
