Justice Richard White calls on CJP

Justice Richard White, Judge, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia accompanied by Deputy High Commissioner of Australia called on Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in Supreme Court here. At the outset of the meeting, CJP Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry welcomed the delegation. The delegation discussed the issues of mutual judicial interest.
CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry informed the delegation about judicial system in Pakistan, court procedure, jurisdiction and mode of induction of judges in Pakistan's judiciary. Justice Richard White, Judge, Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia also apprised the Honourable CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry about judicial system of Australia, court procedure, jurisdiction and mode of induction of judges in Australian judiciary.
