Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) has demanded re-polling on NA-40 and NA-47 constituencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The demand was made by JUI-F senior naib ameer Attaur Rahman while speaking to media persons here on Wednesday. Alleging massive rigging Rahman asked the Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct re-polling on NA-40 and NA-47 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He asked the election commission to take the matter seriously as protests were being held in every province of the country against rigging. He said that his party would also launch protest rallies and demonstrations on May 17 in KP against rigging. When asked about the JUI-F position in the next KP assembly, he said that Akram Khan Durani would be its parliamentary leader, while Maulana Lutfur Rahman would be deputy parliamentary leader.
