RECORDER REPORT: PSX close of day

KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 25,558.99 points with a positive change of 143.36 and volume of 171,746,800 shares. High and Low were 25,621.77 and 25,388.56 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 17 were up, 12 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 282,642,610 shares. Total companies traded were 382 of which 173 were positive, 189 were negative and 20 were unchanged.

Chemicals was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 57,872,490 shares. It was followed by Cement with a total traded volume of 32,221,500 shares.
