Residents of Ichra, Fazlia Colony and Shah Jamal on Sunday held protest demonstration against an inappropriate attitude of Inchage ra circle wardens and blockage of their crossing from Muslim Town to Shama Cinema on Ferozpur Road hundreds of people were shouting slogans against the Ichra circle Traffic DSP.
They were saying that under the headship of Ichra Circle DSP wardens were insulting and misbehaving with the citizens and usually get physical with them.
They demanded immediate removal of Ichra circle Traffic DSP, Metro Bus Stop and restoration of old crossing ways from anywhere between Muslim Town to Shama Cinema bus stop on Ferozpur Road.
They said that it has become very hard for them to cross the road in time of any emergency.
"We have been left with no option to cross the road from Muslim Town to Shahma if we come from Wahdat Road. Worse is that Ichra Circle traffic wardens misbehave with everybody who will fully or otherwise tries to cross the road," Zeshan Ali, a resident of Fazlia Colony said.
Another resident of Shah Jamal Colony, Shabbir, said that his mother is heart patient and he regularly visits Nawaz Shrif Civil Hospital. He said that Rickshaw charged double price when he came to know that he would have to take turn from Shahma Cinema to reach Shah Jamal.
Mrs Sakhawat, a resident of Fazlia Colony said that she was much disappointed by the indecent attitude of the Ichra Circle wardens when wardens misbehaved with her husband. She said that her husband was crossing road from Rehmanpur chowk.
