Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) witnessed record increase in ISE Ten Index with across the board gains in star performer shares on Monday as gainers outclassed losers and overall turnover showed increase by the end of bullish session. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 135.67 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,651.98 to 3,787.65 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 244,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 57,000 shares. Total 153 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (102) closed in positive territory, 51 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Nishat Mills was 19,000 shares. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 15,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement was 5,000 shares.
