Provincial and district leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) from Punjab have joined Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf (PTI) here on Tuesday. While addressing a press conference, PTI President Punjab, Ejaz Chaudhary announced the joining of MQM leaders namely Amir Sajjid, Rizwan, Dr Asif, Safraz Abbas and others.
Ejaz said they have approached the courts for justice over the recent riggings during the general elections and they hope to receive justice. "We expect from the Chief Justice of Pakistan to strictly follow the famous dictum 'justice is blind'," he added. In reply to a question, he claimed that after PTI Chairman Imran Khan's statement in which he implicated the MQM's chief in the murder of PTI leader Zahra Shahid, the MQM's threats to the party workers are increasing day by day.
