Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior provincial leaders have said that the party would take part in the forthcoming by-elections and their candidates have already started people-to-people contact. PTI President Punjab Ejaz Chaudhary and General Secretary Yasmeen Rashid were talking to various delegations at the PTI provincial office here on Monday.
They said they will not give open space to the opponents during the by-elections. They said the PTI fully participated during the recently concluded general elections and it emerged as second biggest political force in the country. "The PTI firmly believes in democratic struggle and thus for the resolution of people's problem it will raise voice in and outside the parliament. It will play a responsible opposition role," he added.
They said they will continue with the struggle till a change takes place and supremacy of constitution and law is restored in the country. They assured their voters of coming to their expectation and would not disappoint them. They claimed that unprecedented poll rigging took place during the recent general elections and the Election Commission of Pakistan has miserably failed to conduct free and fair elections.
