Call for action against absent teachers in Balochistan

Government Teachers Association (Aksariti) has demanded of the government to take departmental action against teachers who used to remain absent from their duties but receive their salaries regularly. In a statement issued, here on Monday, Wali Khan, Secretary General GTA (Aksariti) said that a large number of government teachers did not attend their duties in schools across the province including the provincial capital Quetta.
"It has become a routine matter that most of teachers used to remain absent from schools but they receive their salary every month and the authorities concerned do not take any departmental action against them," he said. He said that such negligence of teachers is damaging education system of the province.
