Cottonseeds rates were higher, the cereals prices, however, were down on the wholesale grain market on Monday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (old) were higher by Rs 75 to Rs 575 and 775, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low type was up by Rs 25 to Rs 1275, the good type, however, fell by Rs 50 to Rs 1300, til low variety gained Rs 600 to Rs 6800 and the best quality rose by Rs 700 to Rs 7200, other items maintained week-end levels, they said.
On the cereals side, Makai low type was lower by Rs 125 to Rs 2750 and the best type also followed same trend, losing Rs 25 to Rs 2875, Guwar Sindh lost Rs 1000 to Rs 11000-12000, they said. On the grams and rice sectors were unchanged, they added.
