ISE index improves by 43.16 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 43.16 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,999.05 to 4,042.21 points. The overall turnover amounted to 308,020 shares as compared to previous volume of 50,700 shares.
Total 154 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (111) closed in positive territory, 43 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Dewan Salman Fibres was 105,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement Company was 100,000 shares. The volume of Pioneer Cement was 77,500 shares.
