Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) of police on Saturday recovered kidnapped Dr Saleem Khkohar during an encounter in Gulshan-e-Mayamar area, SSP Niaz Khosa said. On the tipoff, a police team headed by SSP Niaz Khosa raided at hideout of kidnappers in Gulshan-e-Maymar area. Seeing the police, the kidnappers opened fire at them.
In retaliation, police opened fire on kidnappers. One of the kidnappers killed during encounter and recovered abducted Dr Saleem Khkohar. Police also recovered 01 Kalashnikovs from the site. Dr Saleem Khokhar was kidnapped four day ago from Liaquatabad area by extortionists. The extortionists had demanded 60 million from the abducted family.
