Seeds prices down on grain market

Prices were mixed on the wholesale grain and oilseeds market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the seeds side, rapeseeds Nawabshah low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 2125 while the best type did not move any side at Rs 2150, rapeseeds Mirpurlane (new) also lost the same amount at Rs 2125-2150, cakes low variety fell by Rs 10 to Rs 1110 and the best type shed Rs 5 to Rs 1120, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh (new) low type was unchanged at Rs 1100 and the good type was down by Rs 50 to Rs 1200, they said.
On the rice side, Irri-6 Sindh gained Rs 25 to Rs 8000-8200, other types maintained their overnight levels, they added. On the cereals side, wheat old (Bardan) inched up by Rs 10 to Rs 3200, Khansari, however, lost Rs 500 to Rs 7000, they said.
