Three persons including two men and a woman of the same family were shot dead in various incidents at the village Chakrial, Mansehra, late Saturday. According to District Police Officer (DPO) Sher Akbar Khan, two real brothers Zulfiqar and Farooq were going to school for duty, when some members of their family ambushed and killed them on the spot. Attackers escaped from the crime scene.
After hearing the news of the killing of the two family members, the relatives of deceased attacked a female, belonging to the opponent party, who was also going to school. The bodies were shifted to King Abdullah Hospital, Mansehra for post-mortem. Police cordoned off the area to avoid any untoward situation. The police have registered a case against the accused.
