Pakistan's Air Force on Tuesday scrambled fighter jets in response to the violation of its airspace by two Indian aircrafts, officials said. According to PAF, the incident occurred at around 10:40 am (0540 GMT) when two airplanes intruded into airspace by "three nautical miles" (5.5 kilometres) in Punjab.
Air Force spokesman said, "PAF initiated prompt tactical actions and scrambled two fighter aircrafts to challenge the intruders. Upon PAF actions, Indian aircrafts exited the Pakistani airspace."
