LAHORE:The Pakistan Railways company, RailCop, has successfully qualified for eight tenders in the public sector projects.
This was stated by RailCop Managing Director M Amir in a briefing, given to Railways Chairperson Parveen Agha and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Javaid Anwar, in a meeting held at PR Headquarters here on Friday. He said that the RailCop had made its name in a limited time period in the private and public sectors.
RailCop is working on several projects at IBA University Sukkur and Kandhkot, Cadet College Ghotki and an academic block at Airline University Multan.
Its other projects include five railways projects, i.e. construction of staff flats in Lahore and Karachi, construction of Narowal Railway Station, restoration of Mughalpura dryport and construction of Arzakhel dryport at Nowshehra, which are in the last stage of completion.
Appreciating the performance of the company, the CEO directed the company to increase its annual profit by participating in the public sector tenders.
