Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) members of Punjab Assembly have described the Punjab budget 2013-14 as highly disappointing and said that this is a document of traditional facts and figures and empty slogans. Talking to media at the Assembly compound, Sameena Khawar Hayat said that "great" performance of the present rulers was that the province which Parvez Elahi had left with a surplus of Rs 100 billion in 2008 is now under heavy debt of Rs 445 billion.
Aamir Sultan Cheema said that no mention of local bodies' election has come as a great disappointment. He said there was no vision in the budget for improving financial position of the province and reducing unemployment.
