Lawyer community observed a token strike on Monday to condemn the incident of burning Quaid-e-Azam residence, blast in the medical college students' bus and at the Bollan Medical Complex. The lawyers kept them away from the courts after 10.30 am to lodge their protest. Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) President Abid Saqi while addressing to the general house meeting demanded ouster of anti-state agencies operating in Pakistan.
He said that the government should protect the lives and properties of people of Pakistan. He announced to chalk out strategy with Lahore Bar Association for restoration of law and order situation and to protect the precious human lives. Later Fateha was offered for departed souls.
