Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaqat Baloch has said that the master mind of terrorist activities all over Pakistan is the US, which wanted to build India the regional police man by destabilising the country and proving it a failed state. Talking to the media at a local function, he said that the bombing of the girls students bus in Quetta and the Quaid's Ziarat Residency could not be the acts of Baloch nationalists or any patriot.
Liaqat Baloch said that during his recent visit to the Balochistan, he had suggested to the Chief Minister to convene an APC at provincial level for preparing a charter for the solution of the problems facing the province and implement the same with the co-operation of the federal government, the armed forces, and agencies.
The JI Secretary General described the federal budget a combination of dreams, unrealistic proposals and undue taxes, and suggested to the Finance Minister to accept his failure and prepare a new budget that was acceptable. He pointed out that the government had to yield to the demand for raise in salaries within 48 hours of the budget's presentation.
