Taiwan stocks ended higher for just the second session in five on Tuesday, with technology exporters supporting gains. The main TAIEX index closed up 0.2 percent at 8,011.02 points, beating most regional bourses and extending a 0.7 percent gain in the previous session. Electronics shares jumped 0.6 percent, while banking shares slipped 0.2 percent. The Taiwan dollar climbed T$0.062 to stand at T$29.910 to the US dollar.
