ISE index gains 25.25 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings on Thursday at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 25.25 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,065.84 to 4,040.59 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 215,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 5,500 shares. Total 147 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (98) closed in positive territory, 49 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Bank of Punjab Right was 210,000 shares, the volume of Maple Leaf Cement was 5,000 shares, and the volume of Sui Northern Gas was 500 shares.
