PML-N not against any institution
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Privatization Daniyal Aziz Saturday said Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) was not against any national institution, instead it had always worked for strengthening the institutions.
Talking to a private news channel, he said PML-N leadership did not believe in confronting policy against any institution and believed in supremacy of law.
The minister said PML-N was in favour of accountability but it should be across the board and without any discrimination, adding Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was not seeking any relief for himself.
He said Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were violating law of the land but no body was ready to take action against them. PTI had locked accountability office in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where it was enjoying full powers, he added.
Daniyal Aziz said everyone criticise politicians because they were easy target for criticism.
Replying to a question, he said some people were trying to create rift among the party but it was still united under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
He said it was wrong that cases were being registered against PML-N members before the general elections.
