The Lahore High Court on Friday adjourned the hearing of a petition challenging laptop distribution scheme of Punjab government for three weeks for arguments on the maintainability of the petition. A bar member, Syed Feroze Shah through A.K Dogar stated that the chief minister Punjab had no discretion to elucidate the citizens of his own choice.
The counsel also questioned the proposed distribution of the laptops among the members of the provincial assembly. He therefore prayed to the court to restrain the respondent government from distributing the laptops.
