Adobe and Microsoft have published security updates for several of their programmes. The newest version of Adobe's Flash Player 11, Number 11.7.700.224, closes a number of security vulnerabilities. Users of the older Flash Player 10 can download update 10.3.183.90. However, with this patch Adobe is discontinuing support for Flash Player 10. In future updates will only be published for Version 11.
The latest Microsoft updates apply to Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office and the Windows operating system and will prevent attackers running malicious code or gathering personal information about users. These updates are as a rule downloaded automatically. To install the updates, users must restart their computers.
