Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday said that the govt was preparing a strategy to ensure provision of inexpensive and speedy justice in the country. Addressing public meetings in different areas of Narowal, he said that under the strategy, 'Panchayat system' would be introduced at village-level for settling of disputes.
The minister said that the government was focusing economic development to steer the country out of financial crisis. "We are working day and night to overcome the financial crisis and to cope with the menace of terrorism," he added.
The minister underscored the need of collective efforts to overcome multiple problems facing the country and urged upon the political parties that they should join hands for making the country economically vibrant and strong.
He assured the people that Narowal would be make a model district of the country. Meanwhile, the minister strongly condemned the killing of foreign tourists in Gilgit-Balitistan and termed it a baric and shameful act.
