Ombudsman Sindh Asad Ashraf Malik has asked the Director General, Malir Development Authority to provide alternate plots to the 112 complainants in lieu of their original plots on the same terms and conditions subject to confirmation of genuineness of their documents and completion of legal formalities. The decision says that the refusal of providing alternate plots to these 112 allottees is considered an act of failure in discharge of the official duties which is a clear case of maladministration as defined under Section 2(2) of the Establishment of the office of the Ombudsman for the Province of Sindh Act 1991.
