Four persons including two abductors were killed during crossfire between abductors and villagers in Hafizabad on Monday morning. According to sources, two armed men appeared in the village Dhariwal in order to kidnap 12-year-old son of landlord Muhammad Abbas. The victims expressed their resistance upon which abductors opened fire on them and gunned down Muhammad Abbas and Altaf Hussain.
Having information, a large number of villagers along with security forces reached the site of occurrence and killed abductors who could not be identified. Moreover, six villagers also sustained injuries during crossfire and were rushed to district hospital.
