The country's total liquid foreign exchange reserves rose by $4.2 million during the last week. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), overall reserves including SBP and banks surged to $11.344 billion as on June 21, 2013 compared to $11.340 billion on June 14, 2013. Reserves held by the central bank gone up by $17.5 million to $6.256 billion at end of last week. Reserves held by banks declined by $13.3 million to $5.088 billion.
