Director General Rangers (Sindh) Major General Rizwan Akhtar called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and briefed him about the measures taken for the improvement of law and order in Karachi. According to a handout issued here on Saturday, the Chief Minister discussed law and order situation in the metropolis with the DG Rangers and asked him to continue indiscriminate targeted actions against criminals, target killers and anti-social elements involved in creating law and order situation.
The Chief Minister directed him to utilise all resources for improvement of law and order in the metropolis and protection of lives and property of the citizens. He also directed him to strength the system of snap checking and patrolling to control the activities of criminals. Syed Qaim Ali Shah remarked that the provincial government has been pursuing "zero tolerance" policy for maintenance of peace.
