Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has made another attempt to get a prominent position in federal government by meeting Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Tuesday. Fazl has met Dar in Islamabad while Ahsan Iqbal and Akram Durrani were also present. During the meeting, the leaders from both sides discussed the modalities for JUI-F's joining central government and political situation in the country.
Talking to media after the meeting, JUI-F chief said both parties have agreed on setting priorities and his party is likely to be added to federal cabinet soon. Fazl supported the initiation of talks with Taliban.
