After establishing Export Processing Zones (EPZ) in natural resources rich areas of Balochistan like Duddar, Saindak and Gwadar EPZ is pursuing with authorities to establish EPZ in Lasbella. This will open a new avenue in the progress of Balochistan and doors will be opened for foreign investment in this important province of the country.
These views were expressed by Chairman EPZA Saadat S. Cheema after meeting Director Lasbella Industrial Development Authority, Shaifiq A Qaasmi and Secretary Board Fawwad Shah. During the meeting Chairman EPZA informed that talks are in advance stages for Gwadar Zone and very soon things will materialise. We are trying our level best to expand EPZA's facilities and incentives to investors all over the country and our attempts have been appreciated by different sections of the society. Recently we signed an MoU FIEDMC and Punjab Industrial Zone which is a significant development for industrialisation in the country, Cheema added.
Director Lasbella Industrial Development Authority appreciated these developments and said that very soon EPZA and LIEDA will sign an MoU which will mean a lot for the prosperity of our country in general and people of Balochistan in particular.-PR
